Fantasy Football News – Dez Bryant Has Broken Finger

Fantasy Football News - Dez suffered a broken index finger in the win over the Bengals on Sunday. It is not known whether or not he will need surgery but if in fact he does, his season will be over. He was able to come back from the injury during the game and later caught a TD pass to help give the Cowboys a victory.

FFLockerRoom Take - This would be a huge loss for the Cowboys and for fantasy owners of Bryant. He has been really good as of late and seemed to be settling in as a premier player. You hadn’t heard of him messing around and he wasn’t making the mental mistakes that plagued him earlier in the season.

If Bryant were to miss the rest of the season, you would have to upgrade Miles Austin and Jason Witten. Luckily for the Cowboys, they got DeMarco Murray back just in time to keep defenses honest. It’s hard telling who would step up to start opposite Austin, but my guess would be Kevin Ogletree or Cole Beasley. I like what I saw out of Beasley a couple of weeks ago and he may be the one to own if I were desperate.
