Fantasy Football News – Darren McFadden Primed for Huge Year?

Fantasy Football News – New Oakland Raiders Offensive Coordinator Greg Olsen has stated that he will not force Darren McFadden to fill into the offense as last years’ coaching regime did, but rather he will build the Raiders offense around the strengths of McFadden.

FFLockerRoom Take – This is excellent news for McFadden owners who have been losing sleep over whether they should retain his services in keeper leagues. When the offense has played to McFadden’s strengths, such as when he played under Hue Jackson, he played as a prime-time player. Now granted, if he doesn’t stay healthy and on the field all this talk will mean very little. But it is encouraging to hear that the Raiders will build their offense around the young stud running back who is entering his final year of his rookie contract. All things point towards an excellent 2013 campaign.
