Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
In what was considered an off-year for Aaron Rodgers, he still finished the season strong passing for 4,295 yards and 39 touchdowns with only 8 interceptions despite missing his top-target Greg Jennings for most of the year. That performance earned him the third most fantasy points amongst quarterbacks in 2012 and once again a top-5 fantasy football quarterback status.
Going into 2013 Rodgers could be without Jennings who is most likely to leave via free agency. That being said, Rodgers proved last season he could still be extremely productive without Jennings in the lineup. While the threat of a serious concussion always exists with Rodgers, he has only missed two games in the past five seasons.
Look for the Packers quarterback to once again excel in 2013, making him the top-quarterback choice in most fantasy football leagues and a projected late-first to mid-second round pick. There is no reason to believe he will take a step back this up-and-coming season. Another 4,200 yard, 40 touchdown performance in a watered down secondary defense NFC North division is definitely within grasp.
