Dallas Clark, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
The question at hand is should you own Dallas Clark in your fantasy league this year? Let’s analyze this a little. Here is a game that I like to call fuzzy numbers. One set of numbers is 30/100/1,106/10. The other set of numbers is 34/119/1,134/9. What are these two sets of numbers? The first sit is Clark at 30 years old, catching 100 balls while going for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns. The second set is his last three seasons statistically accumulated as a total and soon he will be 34. Is there any reason to believe that the aging tight end who is contemplating retirement will all of a sudden reach close to his peak years despite being stuck with a quarterback not named Peyton Manning who was also in his prime? Exactly. Leave Clark off of your draft list and keep him on the draft board in hopes that some chump in your league will draft him based on name recognition alone.
