Jared Cook, TE, St. Louis Rams
School: South Carolina
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
Jared Cook, who will likely become a free agent soon, is one of the few tight ends in this years fantasy drafts that could pay handsomely compared to where he is drafted. Words such as underutilized, extremely talented and good downfield target are just a few that have been used to describe the four-year NFL veteran and former South Carolina star.
Depending on where he ends up, and quite frankly anywhere may be better than Tennessee for his sake, Cook could make 2013 a transformation year of sorts.
Look for Cook, who is rehabbing an injured shoulder, to at least duplicate his career highs which would be 750 receiving yards, 49 receptions and 4 touchdowns. But remember, Cook has the potential to put it all together and throw up better stats.
Well, Cook moved fast on the opening day of free agency going to the St. Louis Rams. This will automatically give Sam Bradford something he’s never had. A big man with speed that actually break down the field for big chunks of yards. (3/13/13)
