Aaron Hernandez, TE, New England Patriots
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
Heading into his fourth season in the NFL, Aaron Hernandez of the New England Patriots has had a very productive career… when he plays. Unfortunately though he has missed a total of 10 games in his early career and is mending a bad ankle.
There is reason to believe though that Hernandez will be ready to excel come 2013 and that is because he plans on training with Tom Brady and Brady’s trainer, Alex Guerrero this off-season.
Looking at his career stats, Hernandez has gone for 18 touchdowns and almost 2,000 yards. Along with his 175 receptions in just 38 games played, you could only imagine what he would had done if he had played 48.
Hernandez deserves the respect of being placed amongst the elite at the tight end position when it comes to fantasy football, just behind Jimmy Graham of the New Orleans Saints and his teammate Rob Gronkowski. With the possible retirement of Tony Gonzalez there really isn’t anyone sitting out there with the potential that this kid possesses.
