Brandon Myers, TE, Oakland Raiders
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
After getting very little playing time in his first three seasons with the Oakland Raiders, tight end Brandon Myers broke out in a big way, going for 79 receptions and 806 yards plus 4 touchdowns. Unfortunately it is looking as if the Raiders are believing that he may be a little too rich for their blood and may look elsewhere in 2013. In fact, the Raiders actually look as if they may be doing a complete offensive overhaul minus anyone named Darren McFadden. Ok, maybe not that much, but you get the drift.
His fantasy value will really depend on where he lands, what his playing situation will be (full-time or splitting at tight end) and the offensive scheme that the team he plays for deploys.
Odds are Myers will find himself in a situation where he may be able to prove to be worthy of a low-end TE1, high-end TE2, but at the same time until we see where he lands we can’t pinpoint where he belongs. Keep looking into FFLockerRoom for updates on Myers.
