Baltimore Ravens Sign Quarterback Caleb Hanie

NFL News: Tuesday the Baltimore Ravens came to terms with free agent quarterback Caleb Hanie, formerly of the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears, to backup franchise quarterback Joe Flacco. The former Coloroado State ilumni has a total of 116 pass attempts in his five-year career. Terms were not disclosed.

Fantasy Ramifications:  With Hanie backing up Flacco, his only fantasy value would come if the franchise quarterback suffered an injury and couldn’t play. Considering that Flacco has never missed a start in his career, the odds of Hanie getting into a game beyond a blow out is pretty non-existent. He should go undrafted in all fantasy formats this fall.
