Chicago White Sox Place Dayan Viciedo On Disabled List

MLB News: The Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Dayan Viciedo on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique issue. Projected to hit a solid 2-25 home runs for the season, Viciedo’s oblique strain will definitely bite into those numbers.

Fantasy Ramifications: While it will be a group of players trying to fill in for Viciedo while he sits on the disabled list, one thing is for certain. this injury is going to tear into his power numbers. While many sites will stand behind him, Viciedo isn’t looked on as someone that will be of much value until much later in the season. Stash him on the bench if you need the outfield help, but if you have plenty, it is more than fine to let him go swimming with the fishes. –FFLockerRoom
