Cleveland Indians Option Infielder Cord Phelps

MLB News: The Cleveland Indians optioned infielder Cord Phelps on Saturday to Triple-A Columbus. Only considered a player who would get a cup of coffee fell victim of numbers. With pitcher Scott Kazmir returning from the disabled list, the Indians needed to make a spot. The 26-year old went 0-8 in his brief stint.

Fantasy Ramifications: Phelps does not deserve to be owned, even in the deepest of fantasy baseball leagues. –FFLockerRoom
