New York Jets Sign Offensive Guard Stephen Peterman

New York Jets Sign Offensive Guard Stephen Peterman

NFL News: Stephen Peterman, former Detroit Lion, was signed by the New York Jets. Stephen has made every start for the past three years but his skills have diminished significantly. Drafted in 2005, he will serve as immediate depth for a Jets team that lost two guards, Matt Slauson and Brandon Moore, from a year ago to free agency.

Still just 31 years old, maybe a change of scenery can help revitalize Peterman. If he dedicates himself, he can regain some of his lost form and be a starter for the Jets this season.

Fantasy Ramifications: The signing of Peterman has no fantasy ramifications.

Tom, will Stephen Peterman be loved more by the Jets or missed more by the Lions after 2013 is done? This kid always had talent, but his injuries never seemed to calm.

I think we’ll be fine without him. I like that we picked up Warford in the draft. He seems like a good fit and will probably start at some point this season if not right away.
