Los Angeles Angels Place Sean Burnett On Disabled List

The Los Angeles Angels have placed left handed reliever Sean Burnett on the 15-day disabled list with irritation in his left forearm. Burnett’s been trying to work through this for the past several weeks and hasn’t been able to get past the pain. While it is up in the air on when his return will be, as every player reacts differently to rest, he doesn’t have any damage to the structure of his arm, which is great news in itself.

Burnett has been doing very well in the transition to the American League, making 11 appearances while allowing just a 1.04 ERA and striking out 7 in 8.2 innings.
