Los Angeles Dodgers Place Stephen Fife On Disabled List

On Saturday the Los Angeles Dodgers placed starting right handed pitcher Stephen Fife on the 15-day disabled list because of bursitis of his right shoulder. The move is retroactive to April 22nd. Fife, who had a 2.70 in 5 starts last season along with 20 strike outs in 26.2 innings is now the fourth starting pitcher for the Dodgers to be placed on the disabled list this season. The others being, Chad Billingsley, Chris Capuano and most notably, Zack Greinke.
