The Buffalo Bills have signed, undrafted Howard linebacker, Keith Pough. Keith was a four-year starter for Howard and ended his career with the most TFL in FCS history. He is not the fastest (4.87 40 time) guy on the field by any stretch but gives you max effort and will not give up on a play. He is most likely being brought in to compete for a reserve role and play special teams but because of his experience being a starter at the collegiate level, could see some time on the field as a LB sooner rather than later.
If Pough had put up a 40 somewhere in the range of 4.7 he would have been drafted, no question. His lack of speed was his main flaw heading into the draft. This is a very nice signing for the Bills as Pough had been projected to be a 5th or 6th rounder.
