Chiefs Acquire Full Back Anthony Sherman From Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals traded full back Anthony Sherman to the Kansas City Chiefs, of which the details are unknown at this time.

Bruce Arians, the new head coach in Arizona, doesn’t utilize the full back so getting anything in return for Sherman is a great move for them. If left on the team for to long, Sherman was most likely going to be cut. But now, he moves to KC where Andy Reid was in need of a decent FB. Sherman finished 20th out of 25 among full backs according to Pro Football Focus in 2012 but lets give him a pass for last season. The Cardinals still had one of the worst overall offensive lines in the league and everyone should be given a break.

In Kansas City, he’ll lead block for fantasy stud Jamaal Charles and Peyton Hillis.
