Toronto Blue Jays Recall Brad Lincoln, Disable Josh Johnson

The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled right handed pitcher Brad Lincoln from their Triple-A Buffalo minor league affiliate to serve as a middle reliever. In other moves, the Blue Jays were forced to place starter Josh Johnson on the 15-day disabled list with a triceps injury. In an unrelated move, Justin Germano has been designated for assignment and will have to clear waivers to have a shot at remaining with the Toronto organization. The move was made to clear room for Ricky Romero who will be the starter Friday.
