Dennis Pitta Signs One-Year Deal To Stay With Baltimore

Restricted free agent tight end, Dennis Pitta, has re-signed with the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal worth about 2 million dollars. I’m sure the Ravens would have liked to work out a longer term deal and still may do so later on, but Pitta broke-out in 2012 and is going to be a bigger part of the offense with Anquan Boldin now in San Francisco.

Pitta finished 2012 as the 7th best tight end in standard leagues and should be one of the top 10 off the board at that position. Remember that Pitta finished the season strong hitting double-digit points in four of his last seven games, not counting the week 18 gimme.
