The New England Patriots have waived defensive end Brandon Deaderick. Brandon was a 7th round pick in 2010 and has appeared in 34 games for the Pats since being drafted. He even started in 5 of the last six games during the 2012 season. This move comes as a surprise because he’s only due just over 600k this season but he has had his issues while being in Foxboro. Aside from some injury concerns, he was given a 4 day suspension at the end of the 2011 regular season for violating a team policy.

Deaderick will likely get a shot with another squad pretty quickly. In his 34 games played for New England, he tallied 45 tackles and 5 sacks.
