The former Michigan State standout, Brian Hoyer, has found a new home in Cleveland signing a two-year deal. Hoyer has been bandied about for a couple of years as this great talent that just hasn’t gotten a shot but no one is buying that anymore. The Cardinals tried to trade him but no suitors came a knocking. A week ago, the Cardinals let Brian walk and the Browns were a good fit because their GM is supposedly enamored with him. Hoyer has no shot to take over the starting gig from Brandon Weeden and will likely be behind Jason Campbell for the backup job. Hoyer could overtake Campbell if he plays well in camp, but I doubt it.
