Former Purdue Boilermaker and 2008 4th round pick, Stanford Keglar, was released by the Minnesota Vikings. The move was likely to make room for recently acquired LB Desmond Bishop. Bishop should start right away while Keglar hadn’t seen NFL action since playing for Houston in 2010. While Keglar was most likely just a camp body, he could get picked up on another team to fill the same role. He kept in shape last season playing a bit with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the UFL.
