Bengals Sign Carlos Dunlap To Six-Year Deal

The Cincinnati Bengals tied up one of their own today, signing left end Carlos Dunlap to a six-year, $40 million deal despite having already franchised Michael Johnson for the 2013 season.

Dunlap, who had a season that was affected by injuries in 2012, has enormous upside and has the potential to be a key cog to their defensive line for years to come.

The move all but guarantees the departure of Johnson after this season barring a change in the negotiation practices of him and the club.
