The Minnesota Vikings have signed a trio of first round picks; defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, cornerback Xavier Rhodes and wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson to four-year contracts.

Floyd, who is a classic three-technique interior rusher is often compared to Warren Sapp and most likely will be part of a rotation at the beginning of the season.

Rhodes is expected to be a starter come the start of the season and Patterson is raw, but loaded with talent. How quickly he can turn that into true NFL skill is yet to be seen but most times rookie wideouts struggle, especially not the well-seasoned ones.
