NFL Live discussed the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback controversy Tuesday as ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio reported that both Michael Vick and Nick Foles are “neck and neck” and that there is no clear leader heading into the preseason games.

Tunnel Vision: Just a few short weeks ago, Foles was the talk around fantasy football as he looked to have gotten the edge over Vick and would be the likely starter for 2013. That isn’t the case anymore as Vick has had an excellent preseason and most likely will be given the pigskin first in the preseason opener.

It is believed that Foles is head coach Chip Kelly’s man, but whomever proves to be the one that will give the Eagles the best fighting chance this season will be given the nod.

Either way, at best FFLockerRoom sees both quarterbacks as no more than mid-level QB2′s in deeper fantasy football leagues.
