WR Mike Thomas Released By Lions, Signed By Cardinals

Within the span of 24 hours, wide receiver Mike Thomas was released by the Detroit Lions and then promptly signed by the Arizona Cardinals. Still only 26 years old, Mike Thomas was a huge let down in Detroit. The Lions gave up a 5th round draft pick to acquire Thomas mid-season in 2012 to help with the rash of injuries to the receiving corp. Even after all the trouble the Lions have had at that position, Mike was still unable to carve out a regular role. Maybe he’ll find playing time in the desert but don’t count on it. He should not be on anyone’s fantasy radar.
