Arizona Cardinals Place LB Lorenzo Alexander On Injured Reserve

Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, who suffered a Lisfranc injury this weekend, was placed on injured reserve by the Arizona Cardinals which in turn ends his 2013 NFL season.

Alexander, who rotated on the weak-side as a OLB for Arizona also is a superior special teams player who will be sorely missed.

Making matters worse, the organization also had to place OLB Sam Acho on injured reserve due to a broken fibula/ankle, also ending his season.

Trying to help the bleeding, the Cardinals promoted 25-year-old OLB Dontay Moch from the practice squad. Moch, who will try to take some of the reps has also been injury plagued throughout his career.
