Daryl Richardson has been one of the more disappointing players in fantasy to date but he gave his owners a hint this week making the decision easier on you. On his twitter account, Daryl tells a follower “Not this week man” when asked if he was still starting.

Facing the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, his owners were hopeful that he might finally be playable. And after having no known setbacks after last Thursday’s game, it was generally thought the extra rest would help Richardson be ready. The reasons are yet unknown for the apparent benching but I’m sure we will learn more after injury reports are released this afternoon.

One thing is for sure, whoever gets the start for the St. Louis Rams, whether it be Benny Cunningham, Zac Stacy or Isaiah Pead, could be in line for a decent outing. The Jaguars are giving up a league worst 164 yards a game on the ground. Hopefully we will find out sooner rather than later.

But I implore his owners to not give up quite yet. If you take a look at his first three opponents, the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys, you’ll see that they are ranked 2nd, 6th and 3rd in rushing yards allowed. And then you throw in a pissed off San Francisco 49ers last week and you have a recipe for disaster. If someone in your deeper leagues drops him out of spite and you have an available roster spot, please pick him up.
