Case Keenum to start Week 9

It’s being reported that Matt Schaub has torn ligaments in his ankle. With that the Texans announced that Case Keenum will be their starting quarterback for Week 9 match up with the Indianapolis Colts. Keenum is coming off a relatively impressive debut against a tough Kansas City defense. Keenum was 15-for-25 for 271 yards and one touchdown. Considering the game was at Kansas City, you’d have to call that line a success. The Week 9 game is in Texans and against a far less formidable defense. Another solid performance from Keenum and Schaub could find himself relegated to a future of second string clipboard duty.
