Here we are going to take a closer look at the target breakdown for the wide receivers in week 10 of NFL action. Sure if you get 10+ targets in a game it’s a great thing, but what you do with those targets matters the most to us fantasy owners. Below I have a list of the wide receivers who got 8+ targets this past week. I gathered each players number of receptions and then divided it by the number of targets he received to get the players catch rate percentage. Then to get a closer look I took the players receiving yards and divided that number by his number of targets to find out who makes the most out of the amount of targets they get.
This week we had 27 wide receivers in the NFL with 8+ targets. Alshon Jeffery led the way with 18 targets, catching 9 of them for 114 yards. The 18 targets were a season high for Jeffery, and the 28 targets he’s received over the past two weeks could be an indication that he’s going to be a strong WR2 play going forward.
It’s hard to believe that week 10 was Marques Colston‘s first 100 yard game of the season and he also scored his first touchdown since week 1. Colston has been hit with the injury bug this year but looked good this past weekend with teammate Jimmy Graham playing limited snaps. It Colston is back to full health he brings your team WR2 upside for the home stretch.
Below you will find week 10’s list. Hope you enjoy!
