Here we are going to take a closer look at the target breakdown for the tight ends in week 11. Sure, if you get 10+ targets in a game it’s a great thing, but what you do with those targets matters the most to us fantasy owners. Below I have a list of the TE’s who got 6+ targets this week . I gathered each players number of receptions and then divided it by the number of targets he received to get a the players catch rate percentage. Then to get a closer look I took the players receiving yards and divided that number by his number of targets to find out who makes the most out of the amount of targets they get.
This week we had 16 tight ends with 6+ targets in the NFL. Jimmy Graham once again led the way with 12 targets on the week, catching 6 of them for 41 yards. Grahams foot injury is still lingering but the tight end played the majority of the snaps this past Sunday. Going forward this looks to be a weekly battle, but even when his snaps are limited he’s still a top 5 tight end.
Delanie Walker had himself his best game of the season being targeted 10 times and catching all 10 of them for 91 yards and 1 TD. Walker has had success when Fitzpatrick has been the starting QB this year and with Locker out the rest of the season Walker should be owned in all formats and should be considered a mid to low TE1 play going forward
Below you will find week 11′s list. Hope you enjoy!
