Here we are going to take a closer look at the target breakdown for the wide receivers in week 11 of NFL action. Sure if you get 10+ targets in a game it’s a great thing, but what you do with those targets matters the most to us fantasy owners. Below I have a list of the wide receivers who got 8+ targets this past week. I gathered each players number of receptions and then divided it by the number of targets he received to get the players catch rate percentage. Then to get a closer look I took the players receiving yards and divided that number by his number of targets to find out who makes the most out of the amount of targets they get.
This week we had 31 wide receivers in the NFL with 8+ targets. Andre Johnson led the way with 17 targets this week, catching 10 of them for 116 yards.
Calvin Johnson & Antonio Brown had themselves a wide receiving duel this past weekend. With their teams facing each other they put on a show as each was targeted 13 times and both hauled in 2 TD’s a piece. Brown currently leads the NFL in receptions and Megatron just seems to be on another level as of late.
Currently A.J. Green leads the NFL with 124 targets on the year, although he was limited to just 2 catches and 7 yards on 5 targets this past weekend.
Below you will find week 11’s list. Hope you enjoy!
