Percy Harvin Needed A Cortisone Shot Over Weekend

According to FOX Sports, Percy Harvin needed a cortisone shot over the weekend after his hip flared up for the second time since coming back to the Seattle Seahawks. He looked good in limited action during week 12 but this setback will probably cause him to miss the big showdown versus the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. This doesn’t change a whole lot for the Seahawks offense as Harvin hadn’t really been integrated in yet, but for owners holding out hope that Harvin would return to his normal self, this is a big disappointment. If you absolutely have to drop someone from your team for the playoff push, Harvin should be. He isn’t healthy and truth be told, he needs to be shutdown till next year.
