The Green Bay Packers have re-signed TE Andrew Quarless for 2-years. Quarless had been getting a lot of attention and was rumored to have been contacted by as many as eight teams. The Packers wanted to lock Andrew up with a contract because Jermichael Finley was no longer an option.
Quarless had his best season in 2013 but it still wasn’t anything spectacular. He finished with 32 receptions and 312 yards. He will have a chance to be the #1 tight end for the Packers but he will be contested in training camp. An early candidate for sleeper status but don’t get your hopes up. The Packers haven’t exactly yielded a fantasy star at TE in recent years.
