The Tennessee Titans have signed former starting LB for the Denver Broncos, Wesley Woodyard, to a four-year deal worth $16 million dollars. During his time on the market, the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots were possible landing spots for the veteran.
After sustaining a stinger in week 5 last season, Woodyard gave way to Paris Lenon in Denver and never regained the starting job. This does not discount the fact that Wesley is an excellent all-around football player who can contribute in multiple sets on defense as well as kick and punt returns. He may not wind up as a starter for the Titans but will be playing plenty of snaps.
