Free agent kicker Steven Hauschka has agreed to a three-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks worth $9.15 million dollars. That deal includes $3.35 million guaranteed and makes Steven one of the highest paid kickers in the game.

Hauschka finished 2013 as one of the top 5 fantasy kickers and has completed 57 of 62 attempts over the past two seasons. For those whom are math challenged, that is really good. He is one of the offenses most important weapons and with the defense expected to be just as good this season, he will once again be relied upon to keep Seattle on the winning side of the close games.  Seattle’s offense is still questionable and they need to have stability at the kicking position. Locking up Hauschka for three more years does just that. Expect him to stay in the hunt for top kicker in 2014.
