Oakland Raiders Acquire QB Matt Schaub From Houston Texans

As FFLockerRoom Fantasy Sports had informed you earlier, the Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans have finally consummated the trade that will send veteran quarterback Matt Schaub to the Raiders for a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

[pullquote]Offensive coordinator Greg Olsen also chimed in by saying, “He was our No.1 target from Day 1 and it was just a matter of getting the deal done.”[/pullquote]

Dennis Allen, the head coach for the Raiders has already stated that Schaub is the “clear starter” over Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin. Offensive coordinator Greg Olsen also chimed in by saying, “He was our No.1 target from Day 1 and it was just a matter of getting the deal done.”

The Raiders are also rumored to be pondering grabbing a quarterback early in the draft bringing to a conclusion that the organization was very unhappy with Pryor’s performance in 2013 and don’t believe that he is the answer to their long-term quarterback needs.
