Earlier on Monday the Arizona Cardinals carted, defensive end, Darnell Dockett off the practice field with an apparent right leg injury. We’ve just learned the results and it’s another big blow to an already depleted defensive front seven.

Darnell Dockett suffered a torn ACL and MCL Monday and is now done for the season. That makes three starters from 2013 that are not among the starting front seven for Arizona. Along with Dockett, they had already lost Daryl Washington and Karlos Dansby

Many had thought the Cardinals defense would be a sleeper in fantasy leagues but this news has caused us to lower their ranking down. We don’t feel comfortable drafting a team that thin on the front and also still missing budding superstar Tyrann Mathieu in the secondary.

During the past ten seasons, all with Arizona, Dockett had only missed a total of two games.
